On February 22, 2012 I posted an informational Youtube video, "Life of a Jamaican Chinese American". My goal was to educate people about the world outside of their comfort zone. For a variety of viewers, I chose Youtube as a positive outlet. I highlighted a few of my experiences growing up in the USA. I highlighted the popular question that I was asked in school, "What are you?".
I was amazed that my video gained 12,000 views and wonderful comments! In January 2013 I was shocked that I received a tweet stating that my video was positively featured during a United States university course, "Intercultural Communications". The tweeter stated that his professor highlighted how people should and should not communicate with one another. |
